More Moore!

Guest spots on How I Met Your Mother and Grey's Anatomy wasn't the end of Mandy Moore on the television screen; the singer and actress is determined to be on a new series this fall. She was originally staring in a comedy pilot titled Pulling on ABC, but recently left the project due to "creative differences" with Mandy not agreeing with the changes made to her character.

It would have been exciting to see Moore in a comedy, but I think a drama will be suited a bit more for her. She will be staring along side (yummy) Ben McKenzie (The O.C., Southland) in a one-hour drama The Advocates on CBS. This is a good thing because if it gets picked up (they're shooting the pilot now) then there's a good chance this show could go far. CBS is known for long lasting shows, whether or not it has the best ratings. 

Hopefully Mandy and Ben have the chemistry to pull off this drama and get CBS to greenlight the show for next fall! I'll be posting a preview of the show as soon as it is released! Aggghhhh . . . I'm so excited, I love Mandy Moore so much!!

Gasp!

One of my all-time favorite movies is Kick-Ass. I loved it so much, I saw it three times in the theater alone! It's action packed, bad-ass, funny as hell, and has an amazing cast. I've been hearing news about Kick-Ass 2 for awhile now, but it felt like it was never going to happen. Then, recently, news broke --- the official trailer has been released! GASP!

This time around, Jim Carrey is joining the cast, along side a now older and, if you can imagine, a more mature Chloe Grace Moretz, a very buffed out Aaron Johnson, and the now super revengeful Christopher Minz-Plasse who has a new name: Mother Fucker.
